- Model: (1A8, 1A1, 1A1R, 3A1, 14A1, 1B1, etc.)
- Dimensions & Specifications: Abrasive type, grit size, bond type, outer diameter, thickness, bore diameter, width of abrasive working layer, substrate thickness, etc.
- Application: Workpiece name, cutting dimension, material to be cut, grooving, cutoff, etc.
- Operating Conditions: Machine model, wheel peripheral speed, feed rate, cutting depth, dry cutting / wet cutting, etc.
- Cutting Requirements: Cutting tolerance, edge chipping control, machined surface integrity, etc.
- Special Requirements: Whether the wheels are used in a set; conductivity requirement for resin-bonded cutting wheels; water slots on the outer circumference (with slot quantity and dimensions); chip evacuation grooves on the outer side of the substrate for Type 1A1 cutting wheels, etc.
Precautions for Use:
- Inspect the cutting wheel thoroughly before mounting. Discontinue use immediately if any chipping, cracks or damage is found.
- If a rotational direction mark is printed on the wheel, align it strictly with the spindle rotation direction of the machine. Reverse rotation will result in poor sharpness and fail to deliver the wheel’s designed performance.
- Do not install or use cutting wheels that fail to meet your technical requirements.
- Stop the machine right away and troubleshoot if any abnormal conditions occur during cutting.
- Dress and sharpen the wheel once cutting performance dulls. Continued use without dressing may cause overheating and overload, leading to wheel breakage.
- Never perform cutting manually while the wheel is rotating. Keep hands and all body parts away from the spinning wheel at all times.
